Who Am I?
I have been a doula since 1999 attending births and building community with other birth workers. In 2021, I decided to pursue my long term goal of becoming a midwife. During midwifery school, I apprenticed with a local midwife and attended births as an observer, assistant, primary under supervision, and then as a primary midwife. In October 2024, I began my own midwifery practice serving families in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania (Chester and Lancaster Co.)
Birth is a natural part of the human experience and not a medical emergency. If you are having a low risk pregnancy, and are able to have a home birth, then I would love to meet with you to discuss your stage of pregnancy, your choices about birthing locations, and health decisions you might want to make during your pregnancy.
My goal is that you feel comfortable asking questions and advocating for yourself and your baby.
